Job Title: Wet Process Equipment Engineer
Location: Portland, OR
Descriptions of Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the installation, modifications and upgrades of the Roll to Roll Wet Process Equipment.
- Define and provide procedures and training for the equipment maintenance team.
- Work in conjunction with the development engineers in incorporation of all new products.
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing organization.
- Develop or define equipment controls.
- Establish continuous equipment improvement plan in order to minimize equipment down time and reduce the cost of ownership.
- Manage budget, schedules and technology risks.
- Trouble shoots equipment failures (hardware, software, sensors, PLC)
Education & Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of different Wet Process Equipment and related technology.
- Broad knowledge of electroplating and chemical bath management.
- Excellent electromechanical skills with logical problem solving capabilities.
- Proficient in electronics, sensors, computer programming.
- Proficient in SolidWorks 3D and AutoCAD design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to communicate with management and vendors.
- Masters degree or B.S. degree or a minimum of 5 years experience as an equipment engineer.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to work on your feet for the entire shift
- Must be capable of lifting 25lbs repeatedly through the day
Training Requirements:
- General Workplace Safety, plus chemical hazard safety training
- Clean Room Protocol Awareness
- SoloPower training and other professional training as required
