Scope & Purpose of Job: To maintain, repair and improve the performance of production equipment
Descriptions of Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to insure uptime goals are achieved
- Recovers tools from failures
- Tracks and analyses equipment performance
- Maintains a spare parts inventory
- Performs corrective action as defined by the engineering team
- Assts equipment operators in running the production tools
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of five years manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated mechanical & electrical repair and maintenance skills
- High school graduate or equivalent education, training and experience
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of maintaining high vacuum sputtering equipment
- Computer skills for documenting work and ordering parts
- Demonstrated knowledge of maintaining wet chemical processing equipment
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical & mechanical schematics
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to work on his feet for the entire shift
- Must be capable of lifting 25lbs repeatedly through the day.
