Job Title: Manufacturing Execution System (Mes) Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 5 years industry experience in software development, programming or engineering discipline.
• 5 years industrial software services functions experience.
• 5 years designing or implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) experience.
• 5 years programming software development with Microsoft Visual Studio / Development tools and C# programming experience.

Job Duties:

• Perform high-level technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis of user requirements.
• Define MES solution architectures and develop detailed design specifications. Use these specifications to select an MES system.
• Lead, implementation of MES system.
• Provide expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical effort required to implement complex MES solutions.
• Responsible for technical deliverables ongoing for the MES system.
• Proactively engage with stake holders in order to define the overall technical MES approach for MES solutions.
• Proactively report on project progress against schedule and budget.
• Manage and report on adjustments to scope, schedule, and issues.
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions, This person must be able to work independently as well as part of the team.

This individual will initially spend several months in the San Jose headquarters before permanently locating to Portland, Oregon
