Job Title: Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must be able to perform start up, commissioning, operations, maintenance and repairs on utility systems and building systems in a 24X7 manufacturing environment. Must be able to operate, troubleshoot and repair complex utility systems which may include RO/DI, PCW, HVAC, compressed gasses, bulk chemical distribution and waste water treatment under minimal supervision. Ability to interpret P&ID's, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams, and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs. Must have to ability to work in a collaborative team environment and interact with other support groups such as Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance. Will be part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT). Participates in authoring accurate operational procedures, training documents and maintenance procedures for various facility systems. Assists in training of junior personnel. Supplies information and technical data for securing spare parts and equipment asset entry into the CMMS. Provides responsive customer support with emphasis on customer satisfaction. Perform plumbing and janitorial duties as deemed necessary.
This position will start as an 8 hour shift, Monday through Friday, and transition into a 12-hour rotating shift (6 AM to 6 PM)
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a HS diploma and 5-7 years of experience working with commercial and industrial HVAC/refrigeration systems, process systems, and waste water systems. Experience starting up and commissioning new HVAC systems, utility systems and manufacturing systems is preferred. Must have the ability to work in a dynamic, cross functional maintenance team supporting other functions which may include electrical, utilities and process maintenance. Must have strong computer skills utilizing MS Office suite applications, Building Management Systems, Distributed Control Systems and Computerized Maintenance Management System. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must possess the ability to read and modify control schematics, loop diagrams, and P&ID's. Must work independently with little supervision in a team environment. An Oregon Electrician’s license is highly desirable. Previous member of a facility’s ERT a plus. Experience with current predictive maintenance technologies such as infrared thermography, vibration analysis and ultrasonic testing.
