President and Chief Executive Officer
Robert W. (Rob) Campbell is a leader in the development of emerging renewable energy companies with more than ten years of experience in renewables and twenty-five years of diversified experience in corporate, technology and high growth entrepreneurial companies. Rob has held key executive positions at Solar Integrated Technologies, Energy Conversion Devices, Hydrogenics, and Stuart Energy, where he has demonstrated a consistent track record of delivering exceptional growth for new technologies in emerging markets. A professional engineer, Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Ontario.


Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Chris Eberspacher is an expert in photovoltaic solar technology with extensive experience in research & development, product design & testing, and manufacturing & process design. From January 2011 to May 2013,  Chris was the Advanced Technology Officer of Hanwha’s worldwide solar businesses, President of Hanwha Solar America LLC, and Chief Technology Officer of Hanwha SolarOne in Qidong, China from summer 2011 to autumn 2012. From 2007 to 2011, Chris was Chief Technology Officer of the solar business at Applied Materials tasked with exploring next-generation crystalline wafer silicon and thin-film photovoltaic technologies, and with managing the development and implementation of that company’s current-generation thin-film PV technology. From 2004 to 2007, Chris was Vice President of Engineering and Chief Scientist at Nanosolar where he was in charge of developing efficient thin-film CIGS PV modules using low-cost printing processes. He received a Ph.D. in applied physics from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin.


Chief Operating Officer
Gunter Ziegenbalg  has a strong record of building high-tech companies and successfully transitioning those into long-term new ownerships. While a key executive at Moncada Energy Group, Italy, Gunter led the successful volume production ramp of a 50 MW thin film solar line. From 2007 to 2010 Gunter was Managing Director of Signet Solar where he built the first SunFab Gen8.5 production line, ramping to volume production in record time of 14 months. Before joining the solar industry in 2007, Gunter spent 18 years in the semiconductor industry. From its founding in 1996, Gunter was President of ZMD America, Inc. and later Executive Vice President of Foundry Operations for ZMD AG, until September 2002. He is a founding member of the Fab Owners Association. Gunter holds a Master’s degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of Technology, Dresden, and an Executive MBA degree from Pepperdine University.


Chief Financial Officer
Bryan is a result-oriented Chief Financial Officer with in-depth knowledge in all aspects of business including accounting, finance, investor relations, IT, human resources, and legal. He is experienced in a variety of financial transactions including debt offerings, raising capital, M&A, and public offerings. Prior to joining Solopower  Systems, Bryan held executive positions at SVTC Solar, VentureTech Alliance (venture capital affiliate of TSMC), GetThere, Inc. and Price Waterhouse.  Brian brings international, VC and public company experience combined with in-depth knowledge regarding solar and semiconductor manufacturing. Bryan qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and also holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.


Secretary and Chief Legal Officer
Julian Biggs has been chief legal officer & corporate secretary for the Solopower™ project since 2012, having previously held legal and/or executive positions in industries ranging from cloud-computing, financial services and entertainment, at companies such as Visa USA and Mistsubishi Trust. Julian is also an accomplished trial lawyer and appellate advocate, having received his law degree from UC Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law, and his litigation experience at one of the nation’s pre-eminent law firms.
